How the winning run scored: Jonathan Diaz's single with two outs in the seventh inning drove home Brock Holt and gave Pawtucket a 4-2 lead over the G-Braves on Tuesday night in Lawrenceville.

At the plate: G-Braves right-fielder Joey Terdoslavich (2-for-4) hit a two-run home run (his sixth of the season) with one out in the bottom of the first. The shot gave Gwinnett the early lead and provided the G-Braves' only runs until Alden Carrithers' solo homer in the ninth. Todd Cunningham led off the first with a double and scored on Terdoslavich's homer.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Daniel Rodriguez (1-3) gave up three runs in six innings. He allowed four hits and walked four to go with six strikeouts.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (12-21) and the Red Sox (19-13) continue their series at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday at Coolray Field. Left-hander Sean Gilmartin (2-1, 2.70 ERA) is scheduled to start for Gwinnett against right-hander Allen Webster (1-0, 2.70) of Pawtucket.
