The Braves Hall of Fame includes some of the team's most renowned names in franchise history.

Warren Spahn pitched 20 seasons for the Braves — eight in Boston and 12 in Milwaukee. He won 363 games in his career and was elected to baseball's Hall of Fame in 1973, his first year of eligibility. He was inducted into the Braves' Hall of Fame in 1999.

Phil Niekro, nicknamed "Knucksie," pitched 20 seasons for the Braves in Milwaukee and Atlanta. The five-time All-Star has 318 career wins - most by a knuckleball pitcher. He was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 1997 and into the Braves' Hall of Fame in 1999.

Eddie Mathews is the only Braves to play in Boston Milwaukee and Atlanta. He was considered baseball’s top third baseman of the 1950s and early 1960s. A nine-time All-Star, Mathews combined for 863 home runs with teammate Hank Aaron in their 13 years together on the Braves -- the most in baseball history for two teammates. HE was inducted in baseball's Hall of Fame in 1978 and into the Braves Hall of Fame in 1999.

Hank Aaron played in 21 seasons for the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves. His 755 career home runs stood as a major league record for more than three decades. He was the first Atlanta Brave to hi 3,000 career hits and holds a number of milestones with the club. He was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 1982 and into the Braves Hall of Fame in 1999.

Ted Turner bought the Atlanta Braves in 1976 and made the team into household name before their run of success in the 1990s as the keystone of his WTBS cable channel. He owned the team when they won the 1995 World Series and the ballpark, Turner Field, was named after him. He managed the Braves for one game, before Major League Baseball stepped in. He was inducted in the Braves Hall of Fame in 2000.

Dale Murphy was a seven-time All-Star and a two-time MVP in 15 seasons with the Atlanta Braves. A fan favorite, Murphy -- who hit 398 home runs -- had his No. 3 jersery retired by Atlanta in 1994. He joined the Braves Hall of Fame in 2000.

Ernie Johnson was a former player with the Braves in Boston and Milwaukee before he joined the Braves' broadcast team in 1962. He took over play-by-play duties when the team moved to Atlanta from Milwaukee in 1966. Johnson's connection with Southern listeners lasted until 1999 when he left the broadcast booth. He was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2001.

Pitcher Lew Burdette pitched more than a decade for the Boston and Milwaukee Braves. He was the Most Valuable Player of the 1957 World Series, leading the Braves franchise to its first championship in 43 years, and the only title in its Milwaukee history. He was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2001.

Joh Sain pitched alongside Warren Spahn with the Boston Braves in the 1940s. Sain became one of baseball's preeminent pitching coaches, tutoring a young Leo Mazzone from 1985 to 1988 as the Braves' pitching coach. He was inducted into the Braves Hall Fame in 2002.

Bill Bartholomay bought the Milwaukee Braves in 1962 and engineered the move to Atlanta in 1966. He eventually sold the team to Ted Turner (left) in 1976. He was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2002.

Del Crandall was a Braves catcher in Boston and Milwaukee from 1949 to 1963. An 11-time All-Star he retired with 179 homers (4th best by a catcher at the time). He won a World Series with the Braves in 1957. He joined the Braves Hall of Fame in 2003.

Pete Van Wieren broadcast Braves games from 1976 to 2008. Nicknamed "The Professor," for his encyclopedic knowledge of baseball, Van Wieren worked alongside the likes of Skip Caray, Ernie Johnson, Don Sutton, Joe Simpson and Chip Caray. He was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2004.

Kid Nichols was a pitcher with the Boston Beaneaters for 12 seasons before the turn of the 20th Century. He was the N.L. wins leader for three years running and amassed a 361-208 record with 1,873 strikeouts. He was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 1949 and into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2004.

Tommy Holmes was a two-time All-Star outfielder during his decade-long tenure with the Boston Braves in the 1940s. During a three-year span, he was the only player in basbeall finish the season with .300 batting average. He managed Eddie Mathews in his rookie year with the Boston Braves. He was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2004.

Skip Caray was a voice of the Atlanta Braves for 33 years. He was part of a family line of baseball broadcasters that included Hall of Famer Harry Caray. Caray was named Georgia sportscaster of the year six times. He entered the Braves Hall of Fame in 1985 with broadcast partner Pete Van Wieren.

Paul Snyder spent his 50-year baseball career with the Braves. He joined the front office in 1973 and rose to serve stints as the team's amateur scouting and assistant managing editor. He is credited with drafting or developing the likes of Tom Glavine, Steve Avery, David Justice, Jeff Blauser and Chipper Jones. He joined the Braves Hall of Fame in 2005.

Herman Long (far left, second row) spent the bulk of his 15-year career in baseball with the Boston Beanaters. A shortstop known for holding the record for most errors in a career, Long hit .277 in his career from 1889 to 1904. Long was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2005.

Bill Lucas was at one time the highest ranking black official in professional baseball. He spent six years in the Braves' farm system starting in 1957. He began his front office career in the Braves’ public relations department, then served under Eddie Robinson as an assistant farm director. He rose to the title of team vice president, handling trades and contract negotiations. He was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2006.

Ralph Garr was one of the Braves’ more popular players, who would finish his career a .306 hitter including a National League-best .353 in 1974. After his career he was a scout for the team. He joined the Braves Hall of Fame in 2006.

David Justice made his major league debut with the Braves in 1989. The N.L. Rookie of the Year in 1990, Justice made two All-Star appearances with the Braves. Justice scored he winning run that gave Atlanta its first World Series in 1995. He entered the Braves Hall of Fame in 2007.

Greg Maddux won consecutive Cy Young Awards as a memebr of rthe Braves from 1993 to 1995. He is among the few pitchers in baseball with more than 300 wins (355) and 3,000 strikeouts (3,371). He won a World Series with the Braves in 1995. The eight-time All-Star was inducted in baseball's Hall of Fame in 2014 with teammate Tom Glavine. He joined the Braves' Hall of Fame in 2009.

Tom Glavine spent 17 seasons with the Braves. The 10-time All-Star was the World Series MVP when the team won the championship in 1995. The two-time Cy Young winner had five 20-win seasons and amassed 305 wins in his career. He was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame with teammate Greg Maddux in 2014. He joined the Braves' Hall of Fame in 2010.

Bobby Cox managed the Braves for two decades, guidinf the team to 14 straight division titles in the 1990s. He retired in 2010 as fourth on the list of baseball's all-time managerial wins list with 2,504. He was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 2014 with pitchers Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux. He joined the Braves Hall of Fame in 2011.

John Smoltz pitched for the Braves for almost two decades - four of those years he transitioned from a starter to the team's closer, setting an N.L. record 55 saves in 2002. He is the only pitcher in history to have 200 wins and 150 saves. The eight-time All-Star and World Series champion was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 2015. He joined the Braves Hall of Fame in 2012.

Chipper Jones, the Braves first overall pick in the 1990 draft, spend two decades with the team in Atlanta, batting at .303 with 2,726 hits and 468 homers. (He is he only switch hitter in baseball with a career average above .300 and 400 home runs.) The eight-time All-Star was named league MVP in 1999 and was league batting champion in 2008. He was inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2013.
