The Braves released new renderings of their planned Cobb County ballpark on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, and revealed it will be named SunTrust Park.

The Atlanta Braves released new renderings their Cobb County stadium and revealed it will be named SunTrust Park. The new ballpark is scheduled to be open for the 2017 season.

“This partnership provides SunTrust increased visibility on a regional and national level through a truly unique mixed-use development,” SunTrust Chairman and CEO William H. Rogers, Jr., said.

The Atlanta-based bank has entered into a 25-year naming-rights deal with the Braves.

The Braves said the deal includes marquee signage for SunTrust as well as additional signage and promotional opportunities throughout the ballpark and planned adjacent mixed-use complex. Financial terms were not disclosed.
