In keeping with construction industry tradition a ceremony is held to mark the installation of the highest or last piece of steel is put into place. Steel workers guide a beam into place atop the Braves' new Stadium in Cobb County Monday. An American Flag and an Ash tree fly on top on the beam installed during the "topping out" ceremony. Tradition calls for an evergreen tree to be placed atop the beam to appease the tree-dwelling spirits displaced during construction. The Braves decided to go with an Ash tree since that is the wood most major-league baseball bats are made from.
