Braves Dansby Swanson and Ender Inciarte returned to Arizona to play against the team that traded them last year to Atlanta.

The Diamondbacks made Dansby Swanson the No. 1 overall selection in the June 2015 draft, but the Braves' rookie shortstop never swung a bat at Arizona’s Chase Field until Monday night’s series opener in Phoenix. Swanson went 1-for-4 with a strikeout.

Ender Inciarte played 119 games at Chase Field in two seasons with the Diamondbacks, and Monday night the center fielder was in the Braves lineup in the leadoff spot for his first game as a visiting player at the stadium.
