How the game was won: The Padres loaded the bases in the top of the 11th with a walk, single, fielder's choice and another single, before Yangervis Solarte knocked in two runs with a single to right. Brandon Cunniff picked up his second loss in a game where Fredi Gonzalez called on every reliever but Jim Johnson.

Julio Teheran looked sharp for most of his outing, allowing just two hits over seven innings. He entered the eighth with a 4-1 lead, but he couldn’t get an out in the inning and left with the bases loaded. All three runs would come in to tie the game 4-4.

Number: 25. The number of at-bats Freddie Freeman went between home runs. He hit two June 3 against the Arizona Diamondbacks and hadn't cranked another until he hit his 11th today for Atlanta's first run.

What's next: The Braves fly east for a quick five-game road trip, starting tomorrow night against the New York Mets (31-29). Lefty Alex Wood (4-3, 3.36 ERA) will start against the seemingly ageless Bartolo Colon (8-4, 4.52 ERA).
