Today’s matchup:

• Hudson has eight quality starts in 10 outings this season. In his last start in Florida, rain forced him out after four innings having allowed two runs. Hudson hasn’t beaten the Phillies since Aug. 8, 2006, going 0-5 with a 4.41 ERA in 10 starts since.

• The Phillies are 9-3 in their last 12 games against the Braves started by Hamels. He beat them on May 9, allowing three runs in five innings. He went 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA in five May starts, not allowing more than three runs in any of them.
