A recap of the Braves’ loss to the New York Mets on Sunday at Turner Field.
How the game was won: Pinch hitter Daniel Murphy’s sacrifice fly against relief pitcher Juan Jaime in the eighth inning lifted the Mets to a 4-3 victory. It was the first loss of the season for the Braves (5-1), who won two out of three in the series.
Number: 2. Career lead-off home runs for Braves outfielder Cameron Maybin. Both came at Turner Field, first when he was with the Marlins in 2010 and again with the Braves on Friday against the Mets.
Next: The Braves play the Marlins at 7:10 p.m. Monday on Fox Sports South. Shelby Miller (0-0, 0.00 ERA) faces Mat Latos (0-1, 94.50 ERA).
