Bat flips. Slurs. Benches cleared. Players hit by pitch. Tensions were high during the week's Braves series against the Toronto Blue Jays in Atlanta.

A little levity was inserted by some creative Braves fans who superimposed the face of infielder Jace Peterson on a poster-sized image of infamous bat-flipper Blue Jays' Jose Bautista taking a punch.

Peterson gladly signed the imagery before Thursday’s game at SunTrust Park.

The original image was of a year-old slugfest between Bautista and Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor  -- one of the most hellacious punches every thrown on a baseball field.

Famous punch that Bautista (left) took from Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor in May 2016.
