How the winning run scored: Brett Carroll's single with no outs in the third inning drove home Josh Harrison and gave host Indianapolis a 3-0 lead.

At the plate: The Indians scored runs in the first four innings: one apiece in the first, second and fourth and five in the third. The big hit in the third was a bases-loaded triple by Ivan DeJesus. Harrison was 3-for-4 to lead the Indians' 11-hit day. Todd Cunningham (3-for-3) had the big bat for the G-Braves. Gwinnett scored runs via a sacrifice fly and a ground out.

On the mound: Gwinnett starter Daniel Rodriguez (1-2) lasted only three innings, giving up seven runs on four hits and six walks. Rodriguez has issued 13 walks in nine innings this season.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (12-15) have an off-day Wednesday before opening a four-game series against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at 6:05 p.m. Thursday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. Lefty Sean Gilmartin (2-0, 2.40 ERA) is scheduled to start for Gwinnett.
