The Gwinnett Stripers announced their opening-day roster Thursday afternoon.

The Stripers open their season Friday night at Norfolk, and their first home game comes Thursday, April 12 at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. Both games have 7:05 p.m. start times.

Here is the Stripers’ roster:

RHP (8): Aaron Blair, Evan Phillips, David Peterson, Andres Santiago, Lucas Sims, Miguel Socolovich, Mike Soroka, Matt Wisler.

LHP (4): Kolby Allard, Jesse Biddle, Rex Brothers, Phil Pfeifer.

Catchers (2): Rob Brantly, Kade Scivicque.

Infielders (5): Christian Colón, Carlos Franco, Sean Kazmar Jr., Rio Ruiz, Tyler Smith.

Outfielders (5): Ronald Acuna Jr., Ezequiel Carrera, Jaff Decker, Dustin Peterson, Danny Santana.

Note: Outfielder Xavier Avery and right-handers Caleb Dirks and Patrick Weigel will begin the season on the disabled list.
