Anthony Recker blasted a walk-off home run leading off the 10th inning, giving the Gwinnett Braves a 4-3 victory over the Indianapolis Indians on Wednesday night at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Recker hit his fifth home run since June 12th and eighth of the season (sixth with Gwinnett). He has 25 RBIs and is hitting .250.

The G-Braves (33-40) were held without a hit through eight innings and trailed 3-0, but Recker led off the ninth with a clean single off reliever Trey Haley.

The G-Braves had been held down by Indians’ starter Tyler Glasnow, who didn’t allow a hit in seven innings. The Pittsburgh Pirates’ No. 1 prospect according to MLB.com, Glasnow walked five and struck out eight.

Manny Banuelos started for Gwinnett, allowing two earned runs in 4.2 innings. He walked five and gave up four hits.

Right-hander Chris Ellis (0-1, 67.50) will make his second start for Gwinnett Thirsday night against Indianapolis.
