Brooks Conrad hit his 10th home run of the year and Gregor Blanco drove in two runs as the Gwinnett Braves continued their second-half surge with a 7-2 victory over visiting Lehigh Valley Monday night.

The victory gave the G-Braves three wins in a four-game series with the IronPigs and provided Gwinnett’s eighth win in nine games.

Gwinnett remained one game behind division-leading Durham in the Class AAA International League South standings.

Brooks homered off Tyson Brummett to lead off the fourth and the Braves scored three more times in what became the decisive inning on three singles, a walk and a balk. Jo-Jo Reyes (1-1) gave up two runs in relief of starter Tim Hudson but was credited with the victory.
