Freddie Freeman hasn’t hit a grand slam in his regular-season career, so the Disney faithful were treated to a rarity Wednesday afternoon.

The Braves’ All-Star first baseman launched a 1-0 pitch over the left-center wall in the third inning of a split-squad game against the Tigers.

“I told him it didn’t count,” manager Brian Snitker said, laughing. “You still don’t have one.”

Detroit starter Tyson Ross struggled in the frame. He hit Andres Blanco with a pitch before Ronald Acuna and Ozzie Albies each singled. Freeman cleaned the bases from there.

The Braves won 8-2.
