Baseball’s amateur draft begins Monday at 7 p.m. on the MLB Network.

Tennessee high school catcher Luke Terry, a lifelong Braves fan, will announce our first selection.
Since 2007, five of the Braves’ first picks in the June draft have made it to the major leagues. Most prominent was outfielder Jason Heyward who in 2010 earned second-most votes in Rookie of the Year voting. He was traded to St. Louis in 2014 and he won a World Series with the Chicago Cubs in 2016.
