LAKELAND, Fla. — All of the Tigers’ runs in Tuesday’s 10-6 win against the Braves came in three innings against starter Bud Norris and one against pitching prospect Lucas Sims, who gave up a seventh-inning grand slam to Detroit catcher James McCann.

Sims has a 16.20 ERA in three spring appearances, allowing eight hits, nine runs and five walks in five innings.

The Braves got strong relief work from three who are expected to be in their opening-day bullpen: Jose Ramirez (one inning, one walk, one strikeout), Arodys Vizcaino (one inning, one walk) and left-hander Alex Torres, who retired all four batters he faced including three left-handed hitters.
