The Braves lost to the Nationals 3-1 Wednesday night and are 0-2 this season. Here's seven things to know from the box score:

1. Third baseman Adonis Garcia was a bright spot for the Braves, with three hits in four at-bats.

2. Freddie Freeman felt ill but played and he fanned twice in four at-bats.

3. Hector Olivera saw only seven pitches in three at-bats. He had a hit.

4. Relievers Alexi Ogando and John Gant both pitched a scoreless inning. Ten of Gant's 14 pitches were strikes.

5. Ender Inciarte had a hit, a walk and a great catch. But he was thrown out stealing once too.

6. Braves starter Bud Norris got the loss but

7. The Braves are off Thursday and start a series against the Cardinals Friday night at 7:30 at Turner Field.
