Home runs by Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna on Tuesday and Preston Tucker on Wednesday raised the Braves’ team total to 16 in their past 13 games.

Their 19 homers through 20 spring-training games before Thursday matched the Braves’ total in 33 games at 2016 spring training. With a 9-10-1 record through Wednesday they also had matched last year’s wins total (9-22-2). ...

Acuna, the consensus No. 1 prospect in baseball, leads the Grapefruit League in batting average (.412) and OBP (.512) and was third in hits (14), tied for third in stolen bases (four) and fourth in slugging percentage (.618).

Acuna was the only player with more than three stolen bases among the top 40 in the major leagues in OPS before Thursday, including both the Grapefruit League and the Cactus League.
