What do major-league baseball players do on their off-days?

For popular Braves outfielder Jeff Francoeur, one of his activities Thursday was finally joining Twitter.

He made his first post on his account Thursday afternoon.

Francoeur's one tweet puts him 5,465 behind former Braves great Chipper Jones, who is very active on Twitter.

Francouer, a former Parkview High School star in baseball and football, was traded away by the Braves in 2009. After leaving Atlanta, he played for the Mets, Royals, Rangers, Padres, Giants and Phillies.

But now he’s home. And on Twitter, too.
