A recap of the Braves’ victory/loss to the New York Mets on Friday at Turner Field.

How the game was won: Phil Gosselin lifted the Braves to a 5-3 victory with a bases-loaded, two-run, two-out single in the eighth inning against Mets reliever Rafael Montero. The Mets had tied the game in the fourth inning on back-to-back home runs by David Wright and John Mayberry Jr. against Braves starter Eric Stults.

Number: 15. Scoreless innings pitched this season by Braves relievers, who have yet to allow a run in four games.

Next: The Braves play the Mets at 7:10 p.m. Saturday on SportSouth. Julio Teheran (1-0, 1.50 ERA) faces Dillon Gee (7-8, 4.00 ERA in 2014).
