Braves drew season’s largest local TV audience Monday

The Braves' loss Monday night was their most-watched game in the Atlanta TV market this season on Fox Sports South or Fox Sports Southeast. The 5-3 road loss to the Minnesota Twins drew a 5.13 Nielsen rating in Atlanta,  equaling an audience of about 120,000 local households.

The  previous highest-rated Braves game this season on Fox Sports South/Southeast was the July 14 game against San Diego, which delivered a 5.10 rating (119,000 households) in the Atlanta market.

For the season to date, the Braves are averaging a 3.39 local rating, about 79,000 households. That’s up 8% from a 3.13 rating at the same point last year.
