One year after juggling their broadcast lineup, the Braves expect no major changes on the air for the 2020 season.

“We as the organization were really happy with the broadcast team we had last year,” Braves President and CEO Derek Schiller said Thursday.

Play-by-play announcer Chip Caray and lead analyst Jeff Francoeur will return on the Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Southeast telecasts of Braves games. “I think they’ve done a wonderful job and represent the fans and the team really well,” Schiller said. Fox Sports South/Southeast confirmed Caray and Francoeur again will be the lead duo on the telecasts.

Schiller also said Jim Powell, Joe Simpson and Ben Ingram will return this year in the same roles as last season on the Braves’ radio broadcasts, adding that the number of games each works could be adjusted slightly. “They will be back with us, and we’re excited to have them back,” Schiller said.

Don Sutton, who missed all of last season because of a broken femur in his left leg, has "an open door" to return to the radio broadcast team if his health permits, Schiller said.

Schiller also said additional voices, probably former Braves players, likely will serve as occasional analysts on the radio broadcasts over the course of the season.

The Braves' broadcasting changes last season included Francoeur replacing Simpson as the lead analyst on TV and Simpson moving mostly to radio.
