The Braves won’t celebrate until they clinch the National League East, but they can formally secure their place in the 2019 postseason Saturday.

If the Braves defeat the Nationals in their afternoon game, they’ll clinch a playoff spot. They can also do so with a loss by both Chicago and Philadelphia.

The Braves are shooting for their second consecutive NL East title and 19th division title in franchise history. This will be their first time making the playoffs in two consecutive seasons since 2012-13.
