A year ago in May, the Atlanta Braves had the oldest roster in baseball.

With two pitchers in their 40s -- Bartolo Colon and R.A. Dickey -- the average age of the Braves was 30.4 years old.

This May, the Braves’ youth movement has made them among the youngest squads in baseball. With nearly half the 40-man roster at 29 years or younger, the Braves’ average age this spring is 27.7.
