Emilio Bonifacio recorded his 16th stolen base in 41 games for Gwinnett, but the Braves lost to Syacuse 3-1 Sunday in Lawrenceville

The Braves are 24-27 after being swept in the three-game series.

Bonifacio went 1-for-4 and is hitting .280 with 16 RBIs in Triple-A.

Gwinnett starter  Tyrell Jenkins (5-3) allowed two runs in a  season-high seven innings.  He gave up seven hits, struck out four and walked one. Jenkins threw 107 pitches, a season high.

Braves shortstop Ozzie Albies went 1-for-4 and struck out twice. He is hitting .229.
