Atlanta Braves 2017: Key spring dates to remember

Pitchers and catchers are set to report to spring training today in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Here are some key dates to remember as the Braves prepare for the start of the 2017 season:

> Friday: Position players report to spring training

> Saturday: First full-squad workout

> Feb. 25: Spring training opener vs. Toronto Blue Jays

> April 14: First game at SunTrust Park -- Braves vs. Padres, 7:35 p.m.

Construction on the project, which is estimated to cost $15 million to $16 million, is scheduled to be complete by fall 2026.
