Atlanta United midfielders Marcelino Moreno and Santiago Sosa are expected to be available for selection for Sunday’s MLS playoff game at NYCFC, club Vice President Carlos Bocanegra said Tuesday.

Moreno, an attacking midfielder, has nine goals and five assists in 32 appearances this season. He didn’t play in the season finale at Cincinnati on Nov. 7 because of a pain-tolerance issue related to a foot injury, manager Gonzalo Pineda said last week. Moreno wasn’t training with the team for at least part of last week.

Sosa, a defensive midfielder, missed the past four games after sustaining an injury in a 1-1 draw against NYCFC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. He was doing individual sessions and participating in some parts of the team’s sessions in some of last week’s sessions. Sosa has 25 appearances for the club this season.
