Atlanta United 2 will have several senior players for opener

Atlanta United 2 looks like it will have several Atlanta United players in its roster for its season opening game against New York Red Bulls II on Saturday at Coolray Field.

Training with ATL UTD 2 on Wednesday, were goalkeeper Alec Kann, defenders Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu and Miles Robinson, forward Lagos Kunga and Jon Gallagher and midfielder Oliver Shannon. Jose Hernandez didn’t train with either team.

None have made an appearance for Atlanta United this season. Kann made 18 appearances for the Five Stripes last season. Robinson, Gallagher and Shannon were selected in the past two SuperDrafts. Kunga is a Homegrown signing.
