Atlanta United president says Mercedes-Benz Stadium atmosphere unlike anything he’s ever seen

The atmosphere for Atlanta United’s opening game inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium was unlike anything team president Darren Eales has seen in Major League Soccer.

Atlanta United won the opening game inside the stadium on Sunday over FC Dallas, 3-0.

"There's probably a handful of games I can think of that were perhaps as loud as it was when the crowd will do (the A-T-L chant bouncing) off the roof," Eales said.
