With two exceptions, all of Atlanta United's announced players reported to Atlanta for the beginning of training camp . The team will travel to Bradenton, Fla., where it will hold camp at IMG Academy.

The missing players are fullback Greg Garza, who is in California training with the U.S. men’s national team, and forward Romario Williams who is at the Jamaican national team camp.

The team's announced acquisitions are: goalkeepers Alec Kann , Alex Kapp and Alex Tambakis, defenders Mikey Ambrose, Mark Bloom, Garza, Zach Loyd , Michael Parkhurst and Miles Robinson, midfielders Yamil Asad, Miguel Almiron, Andrew Carleton , Chris Goslin, Julian Gressel , Harrison Heath, Kevin Kratz, Jeff Larentowicz, Chris McCann and Michael Wheeler-Omiunu, and forwards Kenwyne Jones, Jeffrey Otoo, Jacob Peterson, Brandon Vazquez, Hector Villalba and Williams .

The team is expected to announce several more signings this week. The team has reportedly added, but declined to confirm, fullback Tyrone Mears and centerhalf Leandro Gonzalez Pirez.

Joining the team are academy players Lagos Kunga, Michael Ille, Patrick Okonkwo, Carlos Asensio, James Brighton, Dylan Gaither and Kendall Edwards.
