A severe weather warning siren has gone off at Kennesaw State on Wednesday amid rain and lightning strikes.

The U.S. Open Cup game scheduled between Atlanta United and Charleston is in a lightning-strike delay.

Any lightning strike within an eight-mile radius of the stadium will force a 30-minute delay from the most-recent strike.

The latest the game can start is midnight before it must be postponed.

This is the second weather delay Atlanta United has experienced this season. The first came in the home game against Houston.
