Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United owner Arthur Blank was named to Forbes Magazines' list of 100 Greatest Living Business Minds on Tuesday.

In his statement to Forbes, Blank wrote about his time at Home Depot and how he made the transition to becoming an owner of a professional sports team.

“Business isn't all that complicated,” Blank wrote in part. “If someone is out in the desert walking around, they're going to be thirsty. You just have to ask them what they want to drink. If you have the humility to listen to other people rather than just hawking stuff, you're going to have a lot of customers. Too many businesspeople have big egos and aren't willing to ask.”

Blank's full statement about humility and how it relates to his work with the Falcons can be read on the Forbes website.
