Atlanta United announced Friday that it has claimed Bryan Rochez off waivers from Orlando City.

Rochez, a striker from Honduras, was signed by Orlando City as a Young Designated Player before the 2015 season. After playing in 16 games and scoring three goals, he was loaned to Orlando City B in the USL for a few months in 2016 and then to Real Espana in Honduras a few months later.

He will report to Atlanta United and will be assigned to the reserve roster. He will receive the MLS minimum salary, with Orlando paying for the difference. With the acquisition, Atlanta United has 30 players on its full roster.

Rochez has a green card, so he won’t count as an international player on Atlanta United’s roster.
