Atlanta United’s Miguel Almiron was named the MLS Player of the Week for the second consecutive week on Tuesday.

Almiron scored two goals in Sunday’s 3-1 win over NYCFC, a week after scoring three in a 4-1 win against Houston.

The native of Paraguay is the first player to win the award twice this season.

Almiron leads Atlanta United with seven goals this season.

Atlanta United (5-4-3) will play at Vancouver (5-6-1) on Saturday.
