Atlanta United 2 adds goalkeeper

Atlanta United 2 announced the signing of goalkeeper Dylan Castanheira on Friday.

Castanheira, 23, played in college at Columbia, where he went 33-10-4. He set the Ivy League record for career goals against average (0.513). He posted 25 shutouts.

Castanheira will join Paul Christensen as Atlanta United 2’s goalkeepers.

Atlanta United 2’s season will begin March 9 against Hartford.
