Hawks rookie Zaccharie Risacher will miss the next two games, the team said.

Risacher missed Wednesday’s game against the Bulls in Chicago because of left adductor irritation. The Hawks will update his status before next Wednesday’s game versus the Pistons at State Farm Arena.

The Hawks rookie has been pretty durable, playing 38 games, with 36 starts, this season. Risacher has averaged 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists, all while giving the Hawks strong minutes on the defensive end.

The team also provided an injury update on big man, Larry Nance Jr., who has missed the last eight games. Nance had surgery on his right hand on Jan. 2 and the Hawks said he is progressing in his rehabilitation.

The Hawks’ medical staff will be reevaluate Nance in approximately one week and they will provide an update at that time.

Nance has provided the Hawks with critical spacing, knocking down 52% of his 3.3 3-point attempts per game. He has averaged 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in 15 games.
