MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Falcons backup inside linebacker Erroll Thompson left the field under his own power with the trainers squeezing his hands.

He later returned after what appeared to be a heat-related injury.

Cornerback Delrick Abrams (undisclosed injury) was added to the injury list Thursday. He joined cornerback Kendall Sheffield (undisclosed), defensive tackle Marlon Davidson (knee) and defensive tackle John Cominsky (concussion protocol) as players not practicing for the Falcons.
