FLOWERY BRANCH — Backup offensive tackle Germain Ifedi, who played in all 17 Falcons games last season as a backup, is returning on a one-year deal, according to a report by NFL media Wednesday.

After he lost to Kaleb McGary in the training-camp competition at right tackle, Ifedi served as the backup swing tackle last season.
