FLOWERY BRANCH — Falcons special-teams coordinator Marquice Williams is being retained by coach Raheem Morris, the team confirmed Saturday.

Williams was in heavy demand after coach Arthur Smith was fired. He was blocked from interviewing and then allowed to interview.

Morris was hired Thursday to replace Smith. Williams reportedly turned down a similar position with the Patriots to stay with the Falcons.
