Falcons place Austin Edwards on reserve/COVID-19 list

Rookie defensive end Austin Edwards was placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.

Clubs are not permitted to comment on a player’s medical status other than referring to roster status. Clubs may not disclose whether the player is in quarantine or is positive for COVID-19.

Edwards, who played at Ferris State, was signed as an undrafted rookie. He’s spent most of the season on the practice squad and has played in one game.
