FLOWERY BRANCH — Falcons outside linebacker Dante Fowler (knee) and safety Jaylinn Hawkins (illness) did not practice Wednesday, according to the team’s official injury report.

There was no injury reported for Fowler or Hawkins in the Jets’ game, and the team is coming off a bye week.

“All of those guys, you know, we are hopeful,” Falcons coach Arthur Smith said. “That is the best way to say it. Again, we’ll be smart about those guys. We’ll see kind of where they’re at, at the end of the week. Those guys are progressing and I’m not trying to be evasive here, we’ll see by the end of the week.”

Cornerback Avery Williams (hamstring) was limited. Safety Erik Harris (calf) was not seen during the open portion and was not listed on the injury report..
