Braves right fielder Ronald Acuna has showed off his arm lately, and while it didn’t produce an out, he made another eye-popping throw Monday in Pittsburgh.

Acuna caught a deep fly ball from Ke’Bryan Hayes in the right-field corner and fired to third, almost nabbing runner Phillip Evans. The play was ruled an error on Acuna — and the Braves lost 11-1 to Pittsburgh — but it was another example of the All-Star’s rare physical ability. The throw was clocked at almost 96 mph.

“He’s got a great arm,” manager Brian Snitker said. “You know he’s a dangerous outfielder because there’s not a play he thinks he can’t make. I know as a third-base coach, when you had those guys, you looked around and knew where they were all the time because guys like that, there’s not a play they don’t think they can make. And most of the time they’re right.”
