Kazmar homers, but Gwinnett falls to Jacksonville
Sean Kazmar, a 36-year old playing for the Gwinnett Stripers, was recently called up to the Braves.
Sean Kazmar hit his fourth homer of the season Sunday, but it wasn’t enough as Gwinnett fell to Jacksonville 6-3 at Coolray Field.
The loss was the fourth straight for Gwinnett (15-15), which will have the day off Monday before returning Tuesday in Memphis.
Kazmar’s home run was his 41st for Gwinnett since 2013, tying him with Joey Terdoslavich for third on the Gwinnett career home run list.
