The Braves will begin a three-game series against the Rockies on Tuesday at Truist Park.

Colorado helped the Braves over the weekend, taking three of four in Philadelphia. They’ve otherwise been abysmal on the road with a 21-51 record. The Rockies are 66-78 overall and 2-2 against the Braves after the teams split a four-game series in Denver during the Braves’ last road trip.

Like the Braves, the Phillies were off Monday. The Braves maintain a 4-1/2 game lead over the Phillies entering Tuesday’s games. The Mets lost to the Cardinals on Monday, which dropped them to 72-73 and 5-1/2 games back in the division. Both the Phillies and Mets are closer to a wild-card berth than first place in the National League East.

The Braves have only three home series remaining. Following a three-city west coast road trip, they’ll finish the regular season with a six-game homestand against the Phillies and Mets beginning Sept. 28.
