The starting temperature for the AJC Peachtree Road Race has climbed to 80 degrees six times, according to the Atlanta Track Club, including the first race in 1970, plus ‘73, ‘77, 80, ‘83 and ‘91. The coolest starting temperature of 62 degrees happened in 1986 and 1989.
