Funeral plans set for former U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson

Details have been announced for a memorial service for the late U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson.
The memorial will take place at 2 p.m. on Jan. 6, at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta.
Isakson, 76, died Dec. 19. He had been battling Parkinson’s disease for the better part of a decade. Isakson was the only Georgian ever to have been elected to the state House, state Senate and both chambers of Congress.
