Twins separated nearly 70 years ago reunited

They were born at the end of World War II, but never knew each other until recently.
George Skrzynecky and Lucian Poznanski were born to a Polish Catholic mother in Germany after she was sent to a forced labor camp and freed, the BBC reported.
She became sick and was not able to take care of them.
They ended up being adopted separately, but last year they discovered each other, all thanks to the Red Cross Restoring Family Links Program.

They even found out about their father. He was an American soldier who left Poland before they were born, according to the BBC.
