Trey Songz confirms he’s a father and the internet is upset

Trey Songz shocked many fans Thursday when he revealed he recently welcomed a baby boy into the world.

The R&B crooner posted a photo of a baby’s foot resting against his hand on Instagram. He captioned it with a blue heart emoji.

The upload sent the internet into a frenzy as many speculated whether or not he was a new father.

The 34-year-old confirmed he was a dad in another Instagram post. This time, he shared a picture of his bundle of joy sleeping, and the caption read, “My son Noah. We are blessed and overjoyed. Peace.”

Many celebrities congratulated him in the comments, including Ice Cube, who wrote, “What a handsome boy,” and Kehlani, who said, “finally HAHAAAAA YES!!!”

But not all were happy. Many of his fans, particularly the ladies, were upset and in disbelief, posting fun memes and gifs of their reactions to the news.

Others speculated about the child’s mother. Songz kept that information under wraps.

And a few sent well wishes to Songz and his family and commented on how adorable the baby is.
