Toni Braxton is opening up about the death of her niece Lauren Braxton.

On Thursday, the singer posted a photo of her and her niece, whose nickname is ‘Lo ‘Lo, to Instagram. The two held each other as they posed on the red carpet.
In the caption, the star wrote, “R.I.P to my amazing niece Lauren 'Lo Lo' Braxton...I'm still in disbelief and so very heartbroken 😥💔 Love you.”
Lauren Braxton, who is the daughter of Toni Braxton’s younger brother, Michael Braxton Jr., died Monday in Maryland at age 24 from a heart condition, according to TMZ. The outlet reported she was unresponsive and pronounced death by the paramedics when law enforcement responded to a 911 call.
According to ET, the Braxton family has asked for privacy "in this time of sadness and loss."
