A crowd applauded after a woman who had been trapped in a collapsed building for six days was rescued by emergency workers Thursday.

According to The Associated Press, the woman was given treatment before being carefully removed from the fallen rubble.

Four survivors were pulled from the building Thursday.

A baby girl was rescued four days after the building collapsed.

Authorities say the death toll from the disaster is at 36 and 70 people are still missing.

The building's owners were arrested. According to the National Construction Authority,  58 percent of buildings in Nairobi are unfit for habitation.
